Photography Group

Visual Arts Group

Writers Group
Meets monthly. "...for those lovers of God who love and worship through their written word.  We aim to foster dialogue at each meeting which encourages spirits, fosters gifts, and brings tribute to our Lord and Savior.  Monthly meetings will include discussions of the writing craft, readings of individual works, and group collaborations. This Fall our goal is to work together with HopeArts and its current series on Co-Forging Art, and to perhaps explore what that looks like as a group of writers." We try to have some kind of gathering each month, usually one of these:

8 Minutes Max [8MM]
A work-in-progress night for performers and writers. To participate, submit the 8MM sign up form and show up at 6:30. You have 8 minutes to show us what ya got! Written feedback forms with clear guidelines are available for you to pass out to the audience in general, or to specific people, if you are interested in getting feedback.

Arts Gatherings
Often a potluck, sometimes a reception, anyone is invited to come! Half the time is just munching and visiting, the other half we usually hear from one or two artists sharing about their work, or have some other low-key programming to feed our souls.
Dates for 2011-2012: September 10, October 22, December 2, February 11, April 14

Rotating Exhibits
Our Exhibits change roughly with the church seasons: Advent-Epiphany, Lent, Easter, Pentecost, Fall ("Ordinary Time"). Open calls will be announced and include a prospectus describing the theme.
