Mourning into Dancing From the curator, Rick Van Dyke: Our God is a god who turns sorrow into joy, who turns mourning into dancing. He takes Black Friday and turns it into Good Friday and Easter. He turns crucifixion into resurrection. Our current exhibit features work by members of ImagineArt, a sister ministry of restoration and transformation that serves over 30 artists with a variety of physical and mental disabilities. Through providing a studio, supplies, and instruction in making visual art, Imagine Art seeks to give a voice to people who often have little or no voice. To experience the exhibit outside of Sunday morning, come by the office (1508 Ruth) during office hours (call 512-377-3900 for times) or contact Brie Tschoepe for an appointment.
